Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection

This privacy policy governs the manner in which the Controller, KVERTI DOO, collects, uses and processes the data collected from you as data subjects (hereinafter you, the subjects or the users) in connection with the organization of the events contained in the Application. By approving this Privacy Policy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

When using the Application, we collect and process your personal data which you voluntarily provide in communications for the purposes of the Application and, as appropriate, with our partners. By taking this action, it is understood that you have given your consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of using the Application. The following personal data is processed:

  • name and surname;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • reservation data;
  • IP address;
  • data on the use of the Application;
  • location data (if the user has given consent).

  • creating and managing a user profile;
  • carrying out reservations;
  • communication with users;
  • improving the services;
  • fulfilling legal obligations.

4. Manner of processing your personal data and the retention periods of your data

Your personal data will not be processed for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected. The collected personal data is processed, mechanically and/or electronically, exclusively by persons employed/engaged by the Controller who have access to it and who are authorised and empowered to carry out analyses, while respecting the principles for processing personal data under the Law on Personal Data Protection. The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the personal data protection regulations of the Republic of North Macedonia, taking all technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and protection of the personal data it holds during processing.

In addition, security measures are applied in the collection, storage and processing of information in order to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal data, as well as non-personal data stored on our Application.

Processing is carried out on the basis of:

  • the user’s consent;
  • performance of contractual obligations;
  • legal obligations;
  • the legitimate interest of the operator.

Data may be shared with:

  • restaurants and cafés-bars where a reservation has been made;
  • providers of IT services, i.e. third-party processors authorised by the Controller and under the conditions and to the extent permitted by the Law on Personal Data Protection;
  • competent state authorities when this is legally required.

The data will not be sold to third parties.

7. Retention period

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or in accordance with statutory time limits.

8. Rights of users

As a data subject, you may contact the Controller’s Personal Data Protection Officer at any time to exercise your rights. The rights you have are as follows:

  • The right to information and the right to access personal data;
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • The right to erasure of personal data;
  • The right to restriction of the processing of personal data;
  • The right to object to the processing of personal data;
  • The right to data portability;
  • The data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time and to stop the processing of personal data based on consent;
  • The right to lodge a request with the Personal Data Protection Agency.

9. Data security

The operator applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or destruction.

The Application may use cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience and to analyse usage. Each cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that allows the browser to be clearly identified when the Application is visited again. The user should accept or decline this option.

This Privacy Policy may be amended at any time by publishing the amended text of the Privacy Policy on the Application, together with the date of the update. Changes to the Privacy Policy take effect immediately upon their publication. Therefore, please review the Privacy Policy periodically and read any changes to it.
